YOGA PRACTICE

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, breath-led practice structured around a fixed sequence of postures.

It is a method of repetition and return where the same form is practiced consistently, allowing understanding to unfold over time.

Breath and movement are linked in a continuous flow, creating a steady internal rhythm.

Through this rhythm, the practice develops strength, flexibility, and clarity, while the mind becomes progressively more settled and focused.

Black Lotus Yoga

Black Lotus Yoga is a Vinyasa-based practice created by Ty Landrum, inspired by Ashtanga and taught through structured, progressive sequences.

The practice is learned step by step and unfolds over time. As familiarity develops, it naturally moves toward a more self-led, Mysore-style approach, where breath becomes the primary guide for movement

The practice emphasizes the balance of breath and energy, working with both grounding and uplifting forces in the body.

Black Lotus is accessible to all levels and offers a clear, evolving system for developing strength, awareness, and independence in practice.
